ABOUT EQUALIZER LLC

Back in 2006, my husband Bob and I formed this company to meet a need. A Kansas concealed carry bill had just become law, enabling residents to legally carry emergency equipment (a handgun) concealed on their person for the purpose of protecting innocent human life. We became certified instructors by the Kansas Attorney General and Missouri County Sheriffs so residents of these states can get the safe handgun training and legal education necessary to apply for their concealed carry permits. Our mission has always been to train law-abiding citizens in the safe handling and defensive use of handguns for personal and family protection.

Fast forward to today.  Thousands of students have experienced our team approach in the Missouri and Kansas concealed carry classes. Two days after Thanksgiving 2010, Bob lost his battle with cancer.  Before he died, Bob was adamant that I should not end what we had started together, as the need for handgun training class is as vital as ever.  He was right, of course.  So while some of our prior offerings are no longer feasible, I am honoring his conviction by continuing the Kansas concealed carry handgun training classes and the range instruction to enhance self-defense shooting skills.  [Click on the links above for class descriptions and how to enroll.]

Bob's gifted story-telling to make a point and occasional teasing of me in class will be missed. But his influence on me lives on as I continue the mission to give good guys and gals a fighting chance against bad guys.  Hope to see you in a handgun training class and/or concealed carry class real soon.
